Bulk Peptides Quality Standards

Every bulk peptide lot is fully characterized before it ships. We apply pharmaceutical-grade analytical standards to every batch: HPLC purity testing, mass spectrometry identity confirmation, and a lot-specific COA.

What HPLC method do you use for bulk peptides?

We test every production lot with reverse-phase HPLC at 220 nm using a C18 column. Our internal purity threshold is ≥99%. Any lot that fails is permanently rejected — it is never re-tested or relabeled. We do not apply arbitrary grade designations; all products in our catalog meet the same 99% minimum.

How is peptide identity confirmed?

Identity is confirmed by electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (ESI-MS). We match the observed m/z to the theoretical molecular weight of the target peptide within instrument tolerance. Both the HPLC result and the MS result are documented in the lot-specific COA that ships with every order.

What is included in the Certificate of Analysis?

Every COA includes: peptide name and CAS number, lot number, analytical method description, HPLC chromatogram image, observed purity percentage, MS result with observed and theoretical molecular weight, storage and handling conditions, and research use only (RUO) statement.

How should bulk research peptides be stored?

Lyophilized peptides should be stored at −20°C in a dry, dark environment. Upon receipt, inspect packaging for integrity before opening. Reconstituted solutions degrade faster — store at −80°C and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Specific storage conditions are listed on each product page and on the COA.
